after Rachmaninov Hall

After a fast 3 hour sitting-while-listening to violins pieces..
We went out for some air..sight seeing the streets and buildings...
Drizzled abit...and it was not that windy..just nice for picture taking..

Rachmaninov Hall

I had a really happening morning at the Rachmaninov Hall which is situated nearby
Metro Ohotnariyad. Wots amazing about this hall is that its the first music hall built before the other halls such as the Tchaikovsky Hall (Grand Hall).
Grand...elegant...and constantly echoing with pieces from Bach , Paganini , Beethoven...
indescribable
Today marks the first day of International Violin competition amongst the top violinst in the world...totally awesome!!

Orthodox Church

This black and white number is my fav shot of the whole grand building.Soo sad that I was not able to get into the building nor enter its compound..
Actually the pic was taken while I was walking thru a flea market...felt like in the movies for a moment there..hehe.
According to locals..this church is abt 100 over years old...or maybe 200 years old...and still standing to this day

Ive just got back from my friend's "open block"...(open house)
We all makan nasi dagang...yummy!hahaha..
photo session took place after our hearty meals...here is a sentimental shot of my closemates and myself...
This marks my last raya in Moscow...woohoo!

Dearest All...
We had our raya last friday which was on the 12th October 2007.A day earlier than Malaysia  ...
the festive season this year was not really felt that much coz most of us had classes on that day following the launch of our Malaysian astronaut in Kazakhstan.We had our nose glued to the computer screen watching the scene of what happend.All prayers go to the astronaut that may he come back in one peace..
And to you guys out there in Malaysia or overseas..Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!!

Here is a fav shot I took while going for an evening drive back home from a family friends.
It was aproaching Maghrib time..and the sky was just simply elegant to look at...
without hesitation I went on snapping...(coz my mom was driving pretty fast that time =p)

I went here with my mom and baby sister the next day after my exams..
twas kinda nue for me to actually rendezvous with my family members at a certain place..
usually we wud just go together from home...
